The sun is shining, the birds are singing, and it's a beautiful Cape Cod morning. And it's day 100 of my photo journey!
Now, on to the next 100 days.
I was just reading a great post on the Beyond Megapixels website about things we photographers do that annoy our friends and loved ones. Case in point: I take my camera to the dump (AKA transfer station). Luckily, I go by myself, so I only annoy the bemused and patient staff who steer clear while I snap away.
The past month has been too over-scheduled for my liking -- I've been feeling like I'm always two steps behind, and my lists of things to do have been getting longer rather than shorter. Time to slow the wheels and clear the schedule. Vacation is right around the corner, and I'm going to savor every minute of it.
Nick has a new job working for a landscaping company. He works from 7 AM to sometimes 7 PM, plus is taking classes at the community college, plus is still working at Wicked on the weekends. The joy of being 18! About all I see of him is a pile of dirty clothes in front of the washing machine.
The sign in the window says "for lease." To me the painted bench gives the impression that there's artistic potential in this building. Maybe a wall mural?
Gray skies over Barnstable Harbor, with a loving request not to litter.
This just struck me funny. I'm trying to picture what might be on the agenda. So many possibilities.
