It's the first day of fall on Cape Cod.  The tourists have closed up their beach umbrellas and gone home.

Oh, the end of summer is nearly upon us -- or "fall equinox" if you want to get technical.  The tourists have gone home,  and the seagulls have the beach mostly to themselves.

I spent many happy hours hanging out at the Powder Point bridge & beach in Duxbury during my junior and senior years of High School. I passed by it this week on my way to a meeting -- weird to revisit a place with so many memories after (gasp!) 35 years. It's surprising how little it has changed.

Even though we got hints of spring this weekend, it's probably not time for nude sunbathing yet. Wait till April, at least.
