I'm always trying to read meaning into things that may or may not be more than they seem. So, is this a trail marker? A sculpture? A memorial? A meditation?

Our very silly local reporter encountered similar rock piles in the woods of West Barnstable. Let's see what he thinks:

Here's an out-take from our vacation last week. As you can imagine, this gift shop had lots of rocks and gems for sale. And also these little plastic rings that caught the light just right. Pretty!
