Oh, the end of summer is nearly upon us -- or "fall equinox" if you want to get technical.  The tourists have gone home,  and the seagulls have the beach mostly to themselves.

I'm trying to come up with a clever slogan for this one. Something about "going the distance" or taking it "to the max." The exact wording eludes me.

But what I can say with enthusiasm: what could be better on a hot summer day than a brand new sprinkler?

My biggest fan. (And its little fan friends).

My mother was clearing out her attic, and since she got air conditioning she has no need for multiple fans. So they are coming to live at our house. Memorial Day is the unofficial start of summer here on Cape Cod, so they'll all be put to good use soon.
