For some reason these two photos -- one from my garden walk in the last post, and one from our vacation caving trip -- seemed to go together to make a statement about the path we're all on. A little bit rough some days, a little mysterious, some days edged with a bit of fear of how we'll get through it. Intrigue. Curiosity. Excitement.

Step carefully. And if you decide to wander off the path, invite me along. Take my hand. I'll go with you.

Hannah and I got to be touristy cave women in Virginia this week. We visited Skyline Caverns, drove part of Skyline Drive in the Shenandoah Valley National Park, and also toured Luray Caverns. Pretty amazing!
