day 184 of 365

Two roads diverged in a wood, and I --
I took the one less traveled by,
and that has made all the difference.

Taken via bike-cam.

  1. "bike-cam"? Is this something you've built yourself?

  3. What is a 'bike cam?' This looks like a fantastic bike path. What is it called? How long is it? I rode 30 miles today on the American River Bike Trail.

  4. A "bike-cam" is just me propping my little point&shoot on my handlebars, shooting a few pictures, and trying not to fall over! Decided that trying to ride with the DSLR is not the best idea....

This is the Cape Cod Rail Trail, it runs about 25 miles end to end with lots of offshoots.

  5. LOL cool idea the bike cam is! Here I thought it was some fancy new gadget. :-)

This photo brings to mind John Denver's song, "Take me home country roads to the place I belong..."

  6. intriguing blog! going through old bag-o-stuff, found graduation note from great-auntie Zella, inviting me to the Cape for summer [ 1967! ]
she proceeded to write how boring it would be, nothing but rest, food not even seasoned .... don't think she really wanted me to accept her offer
my darling father and his brothers went every summer as young boys, and one story tells of brilliant old uncle who was scientist at Wood's Hole Institute, but who would row them out in canoe and couldn't find the way home again - the canoe would serve as dresser, hanging on the wall inside the cabin!
simpler times .... how perfectly lovely
