This 365 day project features photos that include words (actual or implied),
text, books,
writing, letters and numbers, signs, libraries, and.... well, you get the idea.

day 45 of 365

It's amazing the number of books that have been banned, burned, or otherwise vilified down through the centuries. It's inspiring to know that our native Barnstable Village son Kurt Vonnegut had two titles make the list. You can read his take on our village and library (back in the old days) here.

I've read so many of these books. My favorites were Rebecca and the Jane Eyre prequel Wide Sargasso Sea. What's your favorite banned book?

PS: Thanks to Kyle for having such a cool bumper sticker!

  1. What a great find. Love the the message!!!

  2. I've never read a banned book knowingly so I cannot say. I love the sign, nice capture.

  3. A bumper sticker? Lovely texture.

  4. I feel so honored :) And I love the way you made it look.

  5. The Catcher in the Rye is my favorite banned book. I like this image a lot.

  6. I never would have guessed that this is a bumper sticker, too cool! Very nice photo once again.
