the rules

I'm interested to hear the rules that others have set for themselves when doing their 365 projects. I know that with my schedule, I could soon drive myself insane if I tried to post a photo on the same day that I took it every day. So I gave myself some wiggle room. Here are the rules I set for myself (so far, anyway!):
  • Thou shalt post a photo every day.
  • Thy photo should be taken within the week OR
  • If it is an edited or altered photo (I work on vintage and texturized photos) it shalt be done in the past 24 hours.
  • At least once a month, thou must takest a photo of thyself and post it.
  • Thou must stick to the theme, OR twist it to thy liking.
  • Thou must havest fun, or else stoppest immediately and do something else.
OK -- I'm getting my thees and thous mixed up, but that's the general idea. What rules have you set for yourself?

    I love your rules! I absolutely agree that it should be fun and not become a boring job or a chore. I will try to take a photo every day and post it the same day but if a) I don´t find time to post it or b) I´m in stuck in some horrible place where computers and internet don´t exist, then I can post it another day. I have no theme so the only rule is to take a photo (photos) every day :D

    Hahaha...so you are a list maker, hm? Anyway, I agree with above comment. I try to take the photo and post on the proposed day. However, this weekend I am going out of town and will be away from the computer, so I will either send them in from my phone (not as good of quality/light in the shots) or...do 4 of them on Tuesday. Either way, it is still fun!

    My rules are similar to yours too. I'm carrying my camera with me everywhere and snapping away. I pick an image to use that day and save the rest for a rainy day. Example - the photo I used for Day 14 was taken a week ago, but I needed some time to percolate how I wanted the finished image to look.

    To me it's all about fun and challenging myself to think outside of the box. So far, I'm doing that and having a great time!

    This is great. so I didn't see this until now, does this mean all 365 inner voices are in the tone of William Shakespeare? (Meeee too!!) love this, although I think you "wiggled" a bit on the selfies.
