As a child I was an indiscriminate berry-taster,
ignoring the perils of bitterness or poison,
determined to discover some new sweetness
even in the cold grey days of late November.

    I'll google this to find out, thanks. I've always wondered what type of a berry this was. I bet that it'd look awesome in a fresh Christmas decoration, maybe a wreath.

    I discovered you by googling images of Cape Cod, my most favorite place, and one where I spent all my summers until I was 30. That led me to flikr, which led me to this blog, where I have been enjoying your photos and your writing equally. You inspire me to face down my fears and use my now middle-aged Canon 20d on manual.... Keep up the great work!
